 JANUARY 2014 ISSUE
It's a New Year, so we ring out the old and ring in the new, right? Not according to our featured personalities in this month's issue. They're into brand-new old things, from recipes to ingredients to good ol' fashioned just being themselves.

The  mid-month line-up features our regular reviews and a new page: THE PANTRY, which takes a look at noteworthy products. This month's reviews feature the book, 101 Tropical Drinks written by James Beard Foundation honoree Kim Haasarud, so whether you're weathering winter or soaking up the sun below the 33N paralell, you can have a taste of the tropics. The restaurant revue takes a look at Bacara Resort's fine dining restaurant, Miro, in Santa Barbara, CA.

And last, but not least, we wish every success to you, our readers, in 2014, and hope the year brings much joy and gladness.
